Donation Campaign - "Khushiyon Ka Recycle"

CCP organised a donation campaign to support Goonj's Annual Campaign, “Khushiyon Ka Recycle” from 26th July 2017 to 31st July 2017 at CCP Project Office, Sales Office and Head Office.

Goonj is an NGO founded in 1999 by Mr. Anshu Gupta which undertakes disaster relief, humanitarian aid and community development in parts of 22 states. Goonj turns underutilized material of cities into tool to address basic needs and development issues in rural India as parallel currency which is not cash based but trash based. For this work Mr. Gupta was awarded prestigious Ramon Magsaysay Award in 2015.

The materials received in this campaign will help some of the below locations:
1. In Assam - Majuli, Golaghat, Dibrugarh, Nolbari, Morigaon, North Lakhimpur, Dhubri Borpeta, Baksa, Odalguri, Chriang, Goalpara
2. In Manipur - Imphal East & West
3. In Mizoram - Lunei district
CCP employees actively participated and contributed materials like Clothes, Utensils, Blankets and Sheets, Biscuits, Tea – Coffee – Milk Powder, Candles, Slippers, etc. The materials received from the Annual Campaign will be processed at two stages and then converted into a family kit which will be given to the families as a reward for development work assigned to them like construction of roads, cleaning of well, dam making, etc.
CCP Team also visited Goonj NGO on 2nd August 2017 to understand different initiatives run by Goonj to support the society.

Blood Donation and Health Checkup

One more step towards Corporate Social Responsibility by CCI Projects. CCP organized Blood donation and Health Checkup Campaign on 6th June’17 in collaboration with Child Help Foundation and Wockhardt hospitals. The Campaign was organized for social cause.

A large number of Employees, Residents from Whitespring, Contractors and Vendors had participated to make this campaign successful. Approximately 95 people had visited and done health checkup which covered BP, BMI, RBS, Hb, ECG and Doctor Consultation. Also 26 people donated blood,all received Donor card benefit and a Certificate. Our first donor was Mr. Sunil Samagra from Construction and the youngest donor was Mr. Vishal Bane from Procurement team.

CCP received Trophy and Certificate for organizing the campaign by Arpan Blood Bank. The blood was donated for a good cause. The donated blood will aid transfusions to children affected by thalassemia and Cancer.
CCP is thankful to all the employees and other participants for their support. It felt great by observing that employees came together to participate with great enthusiasm and deepened social awareness among them.

Mumbai Marathon

On Sunday, 17th January 2016, 13th edition of Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon (SCMM) was hosted in Mumbai.

The roads of Mumbai were graced by some of the finest long distance athletes from across the world along with other running enthusiasts.
CCP had taken an initiative to provide a platform to its employees to pledge their support to Save The Children India and promote innovative education.

Save the Children is India’s leading independent NGO and child rights organisation having pioneering programmes that addresses children’s unique needs, giving them a healthy start, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm.

Team of Thirteen Employees from CCP participated to support “Save the Children India” and ran for them in “Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 2016” dream run.
The event was successful and It was a great experience for CCP team.

Exposure Visit

Exposure visit at Rivali Park Sales office on 22nd March,2016.
CCP team organised an Exposure Visit for STCI Children of age group 6 to 14
The event was organized to provide practical knowledge of office environment, company culture, roles of employees and also counsel them on different carriers. The children interacted with the employees and understood the different functions of office environment. They learnt importance of discipline, team work and etc. Student also got an opportunity to show their creativity through art & drawing contest. The winners were appreciated with a Trophy. Magic show and refreshment was also arranged for the children.

Exposure visit at Borivali National Park on 27th February 2016
CCP team organised an Exposure Visit for STCI Children of age group 6 to 14
CCP team took initiative to educate children about environment & surroundings, discipline, good habits and importance of hygiene. Children was exposed to entire Park through Mini Train Ride. They enjoyed playing some outdoor games.
It was a great learning for CCP team and STCI children.

Metric Mela and Exhibition

Rivali Park a project under CCI Projects Pvt. Ltd., in association with Save The Children India put another foot forward towards the propagation of Education through ‘Metric Mela and Balwadi Exhibition’ on 13th April 2016 to effectuate and cater to the community development and the educational needs of underprivileged children.

The key objective of the event comprises of multifarious objectives focusing towards one common goal or accomplishment. Emphasis on the relevance of mathematical concepts from classroom to real life being one of the key objective aiding in helping the community on a macro level to recognize the value of school and education along with creating an awareness amongst the children pertaining to of the importance of interacting and communicating (through speaking, understanding what is explained and reading).

This initiative was implemented in order to kindle and generate interest in education amongst the adults to support their children and instigate them to move on the paths of education than to pressurizing them to be an earning member contributing to their household economy.”

PSG Meet

CCI Projects is associated with Cuddles Foundation for organising PSG Meet (Parent Support Group Meetings) at government hospitals to support children afflicted with cancer from BPL (below poverty level) families.
The objective of this PSG meet is to educate parents and caregivers about the best nutrition practice available to them in their limited means.

CCP had organise PSG meet at Wadia Hospital and Sion Hospital.
CCP volunteers had organised few activities for the children like colour the picture (Theme – Fruits), Story Telling (Short Story – in Hindi), Singing (Poetry, Songs) and Numbers Game. These activities helped to educate the children about colours, fruits, learning from the story. Also Puppet show and Magic show brought smile on the faces of these children.

Swaach Bharat Mission

As we are aware, Swachh Bahrat Mission is the movement initiated by our
Hon. Prime Minister. Ministries and Departments had undertaken various activities in connection with the campaign. On completion of one year, the Ministries had decided to continue the campaign and the detail Calendar for thematic cleanliness drive under Swachh Bharat Mission for Financial year 2016 -17 has been prepared.
As per the Calendar, Ministry of Corporate Affairs along with Department of Public Enterprises and Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution has suggested the theme of “Corporate volunteering by private organizations and corporate entities” commencing from 16th June to 30th June 2016.

Connecting above CCP took initiative to Volunteer Cleaning activities in the office premise and its vicinity. 15 days Cleanliness drive plan had been circulated to all employees. CCP had planned one activity per day and which has been executed successfully with the support of CCP Team. Activities such as Posters on toilet for Keeping toilet clean, Usage of Dustbin by posting message on each employee dustbin, Best desk contest, Using both sides of paper to control wastage of papers by displaying posters at printing station, Making diaries from waste paper, Emails on using cotton napkins instead of tissues, Email on using jute or cloth bags instead of plastic bag. Email on stop using plastic bottles, A role play on topic - Don’t hesitate to stop someone littering and etc.
CCP has taken pledge to maintain cleanliness and building awareness among employees not only for two weeks, but it should be the continuous process.

Daan Ustav

Daan Utsav and Donation Campaign
CCP supported Cuddles foundation to organize Daan Utsav and donation campaign “Secret Santa” for two weeks at CCP office. Employees contributed and showed active participation in this social cause event.

Total contribution of Rs 34.7K received from donation campaign has helped 17 families for monthly ration and supported in successful recovery of children fighting cancer, nourish with supplements and meals. Cuddle foundation appreciated the support of all employees and CCP received a token of love in the form of greeting card made by children.
